To celebrate five fabulous years of erwintang.com, I've decided to hold a contest with a super prize! To enter, e-mail me your name, mailing address, and a one sentence reason why you visit erwintang.com. A winner, to be drawn at random, will receive a gift certificate to the UBC Bookstore worth $20. Additionally, the five contestants with the best reasons will have their entries displayed at the end of the contest. Contest closes at 12:00am PST, Thursday, March 31, 2005. Please read the full rules and regulations below to avoid invalidating your entry.
1. TO ENTER
Contestants must e-mail their name, full postal address, and a one sentence reason why they visit erwintang.com. Please put the word "contest" in the subject line. Send the e-mail here. To be valid, all e-mails must be received by 12:00am PST, Thursday, March 31, 2005.
Contestants are limited to a single entry from a single e-mail address. Entries that share a mailing address must be from distinct and living contestants. Individuals who are deemed to have entered more than once will have their entries voided. No purchase necessary.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Contest is open to all living residents of the world. Employees of erwintang.com and their affiliates, as well as their immediate family are not eligible to enter this contest.
3. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING THE PRIZE
On Thursday, March 31, 2005, a random draw will be conducted by an erwintang.com employee. This draw will be made from among all eligible entries received at the previously listed e-mail address. The winner will be contacted by e-mail. The prize will then be mailed to the winner using a delivery service of erwintang.com's choice.
4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE
The winner will receive two (2) gift certificates, each valued at $10 for use at the UBC Bookstore.
5. GENERAL RULES
The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for an amount of money, nor sold nor transferred. No substitutions will be allowed.
All personal information, such as your name, address, and e-mail address is collected solely for the purposes of administering this contest and shall not be used for any other purpose without your consent. By providing this information, you consent to it being used for the stated purposes.
By entering, contestants agree to abide by the contest rules, which shall be applied by erwintang.com. All its decisions are final.
