On April 3, 2003, the residents of St. John's College sat down for our Spring Dinner, the last formal dinner of the academic year. As always, the evening started off with conversation, cocktails, and finger foods in the Social Lounge. We were also treated to a three-song performance by the wonderful St. John's College Choir. As usual, the dinner was prepared by Clarence Tay, the Executive Chef at SJC and his able staff. The dinner was noteworthy in one respect because the Principal of SJC, Grant Ingram will be leaving in July. He gave quite a speech describing the chaotic early days at SJC. After dinner, a huge number of SJC residents headed off to Koerner's Pub for continued merriment. |
