| We would be remiss if we went a Mariner's game and didn't get a picture of Seattle superstar, Ichiro Suzuki. Here's Ichiro warming up in right field. Ichiro's impact on the Mariner's is staggering. Not only is he an excellent player on the field, you can see his influence in his stands. There were many Japanese people at Safeco. I'm sure the Japanese population in Seattle isn't huge, so these people must be there to see Ichiro (and Sasaki). I also saw a lot of people wearing Ichiro jerseys from his old team, the Orix Blue Wave. For a guy who can't string an English sentence together, he has an entire city at his command. |
